What is Stakk?

Stakk is a platform that gives you access to trusted and hardworking high school students looking for work to complete your mundane household chores. 

It takes less than 60 seconds to book on Stakk, then we cover the rest. Let us know what kind of work needs to be done and we will choose the best local student for the job.

How do I make a booking?

Welcome to the Stakk Fam! We are super excited to have you on board! Booking a student for your first task may seem really daunting, like many other firsts. But don’t worry, we will walk you through this step by step. You will have your student booking done by the end of the 4 simple and easy steps.

This includes your name, email, phone number and address of where the task will take place

  • SPECIFY YOUR SERVICE NEEDS

Select the type of job you want done, the chosen date and the number of workers and hours required

  • ENTER PAYMENT

Enter your Visa or Mastercard details

Click on “Book Now” and Bam! It’s all done.

Now just sit back and relax and wait for our email confirmation to reach you. It will contain the details of the task that you have booked for as well as the student(s)’ names that we have chosen specifically for you.

What is the Stakk satisfaction guarantee?

We strive to deliver the best service to you with every task. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact our team within 24 hours of your service and we will happily send another student back free of charge.

In what areas can Stakk take bookings?

Stakk is currently only available to employers in the North Sydney Area.

Booking Management

How do I make a booking?

Head over to our Book a Student page to create a booking simply by filling in your details and the details of the job you are after.

How do I know if my booking is confirmed?

Once we have found the best student for your task you will receive an email confirming your booking, which will include the name of the student as well.

Can I book more than one student?

You choose to book up to 4 students for a single job.

Can I make a recurring booking?

Absolutely! You can book a student for a recurring task either weekly, fortnightly or monthly on the Book a Student page.

How far ahead can I schedule a task?

Tasks must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we can find a student, but after that, there are no limits. Want your lawn mown in 2031? Get your booking in now if you like 😉

Do I need to be home when the student comes?

Short answer, no. That being said we do recommend that for the first time a student works for you, you are there to help them out with any questions they have. We want to make sure that you have the best experience possible, and it’s important that your student knows what they are supposed to be doing.

Can I request a student I have had before?

Absolutely! Stakk is a community, and we understand that when you have a student that you like, you want to hang on to them.

For recurring bookings, we try to send the same student each time anyway, but for one time bookings, just drop the name of the student you’d like into the comments and we’ll do our best to cater for you.

During what times can I book a student?

The times change throughout the year due to school holidays. During the school term, we operate from 4pm to 6pm on weekdays, and 8am to 6pm on weekends.

During the holidays, we shift to 8am to 6pm for weekdays and weekends.

How do I view my bookings?

Once you have made a booking, you’ll receive an email with a link to our booking management platform. From there, you can view, edit, and even cancel your bookings.

Payments

How do payments work on Stakk?

Once you have entered your payment details on the Booking Page, the bank will hold onto these funds until the job is confirmed as complete. Once the job is complete and you are happy with the task done, the bank will release the funds to us.

All payments are done and processed securely through our website upon booking via Visa or Mastercard. You don’t have to worry about paying the students, we do that for you.

Do I need to pay the student that comes and helps me?

No, we can cover that for you! All you have to do is complete the booking form and we do the rest.

Changes and Cancellations

How do I cancel or reschedule a task?

Once you have made a booking, you’ll receive an email with a link to our booking platform. From there you can view, edit, reschedule and cancel your tasks. Alternatively, send an email to company@stakk.com.au and we can do that for you.

I used a coupon for a task that was then cancelled. What now?

Oh no, we’re here to help. Just tell us your order number and we will return your voucher. You can contact us through this form in the Contact Us page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

I wasn't satisfied with the service.

We strive to deliver the best service to you with every task. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact our team within 24 hours of your service and we will happily refund or send another student to you free of charge.

My student hasn't arrived.

Please contact our team and we will happily refund or send another student to you to complete the job.

My student needs more time to complete the service.

Don’t worry, this happens a lot. If this is the case, our students know that they will keep working until the job is done. From there, you should email company@stakk.com.au and we can change the booking to reflect the new hours.

How can I communicate with my student prior to them coming?

We’ll usually handle all communication for you, but if you need to speak to your student about specific job details, send an email to company@stakk.com.au and we’ll put you in touch.

How can I leave a review?

Once your job is completed, you’ll receive an email asking if you enjoyed your service, and prompting you to leave a review online.
